Client Service Guidelines & Policies
Welcome to Peak Abundance / Nederland Food Pantry! Our guidelines ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all clients, volunteers, and staff members across our campus. Here you'll find helpful information about our Client Service Guidelines & Policies. We encourage you to take a moment to review this, as is contains important details that will help you make the most of your visit with us.
Residency & Eligibility Policy
To ensure we can reliably support our local mountain community, proof of residency is required for full pantry access.
Required Documentation
Please bring the following to your visit:
☐ Current Photo ID (Driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
☐ Proof of Address (Copy of lease agreement or current utility bill)
Frequently Asked Questions About Eligibility
What area do you serve?
We serve mountain residents along the Peak-to-Peak region from Allenspark to Black Hawk. (Note: Addresses located east of the Magnolia Rd / Boulder Canyon Dr intersection fall outside our service area).
I have a Boulder zip code—can I shop here?
Yes! Some addresses within our mountain service area have Boulder zip codes (e.g., Sugarloaf and Magnolia). If you are unsure, our team can verify your address against our service map.
I work in Nederland but live in Boulder—can I shop here?
Work-based eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please provide a recent pay stub showing your local employment.
What if I am unhoused?
We welcome all neighbors regardless of housing status! While full pantry access requires local residency documentation, unhoused clients can receive Camper/Snack Bags, fresh produce, clothing, and essential supplies during distribution days (Tuesdays 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM, subject to stock). On-site support via Focus Reentry is also available during select hours.
Are there exceptions?
Please contact the Pantry Manager to discuss individual circumstances or temporary hardship exceptions.
