Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are the heart of everything we do! Collectively, our team contributes over 2,000 hours of service each year(averaging 169+ hours every month). Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a couple of days a month, your time makes an immediate difference.

Where You Can Help:

In Our Pantry: Assist clients with choice shopping, stock and restock shelves, ensure health standards are met, and help load/unload food shipments.

In Our Clothing Closet: Process and organize gently-used clothing, keep display racks attractive, and create a warm, dignified experience for shoppers.

In Our Gardens: Prepare soil, plant, water, weed, harvest fresh produce, and support community gardening workshops.

Groups & Special Projects: We welcome schools, scout troops, faith groups, and corporate teams for group service days!

Mandated Community Service: We offer court-ordered community service hours for non-violent offenses. Contact Pantry Manager Jen Richards-Wood at jen@nederlandfoodpantry.org for details.
