Donation Wish List

The Nederland Food Pantry and Clothing Closet rely on generous donations from individuals, local businesses, and community groups to keep our shelves stocked.

General Donation Guidelines

To keep our space safe, sanitary, and manageable for our volunteers, please follow these guidelines:

  • Factory-Sealed & Unexpired: All food items must be in their original, unopened packaging with valid expiration dates.

  • No Home-Prepared Foods: We cannot accept home-canned goods, opened items, or perishable food from private fridges/freezers.

  • Clean & Gently Used: Clothing, linens, and household items must be freshly washed, stain-free, and in good condition.

  • No After-Hours Drop-Offs: Please do not leave items outside our doors when we are closed. Unattended donations can attract wildlife or become weather-damaged.

Current Food Pantry Needs

We are currently in high need of the following shelf-stable items and operational supplies:

  • Diced Canned Tomatoes

  • Spaghetti Noodles

  • Individual Snack-Sized Fruit Cups

  • Large Heavy-Duty Trash Bags (33-gallon or 55-gallon)

Current Clothing Closet Needs

We accept clean, seasonal clothing and household basics to support local families.

  • Seasonal Wear: Currently accepting Summer Clothing (plus winter ski gloves).

  • Household Basics: Clean bed linens, bath towels, and household textiles.

Now on the Racks for Shoppers: We recently received a large donation of Ladies' sizes 1X to 3X clothing! Stop by during open hours to browse the selection.

How to Drop Off Donations

Donations are accepted during operating hours or by appointment.

  • Drop-off Location: 196 W 1st St, Nederland, CO

  • Pantry & Closet Hours:

    • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
